I feel abandoned on deviantart anymore. No one ever really comments. =\ Everyone gets so busy with their lives anymore, it's kind of depressing. Sorry, I'm feeling a little nostalgic at the moment.

Anyway, I dug into my old computer that died on me and found a goldmine worth of old web designs. The Japan Club at my college is looking for someone to make a spiffy looking website and I was thinking about taking on the job. But I need some cultural ideas for images and themes. I don't want to use anime or manga because the college wants to give off the impression that Japan Club is not an anime club. Anything would be helpful.

As far as art goes... I don't know when something new will be posted. My tablet doesn't work that well with Vista on my college laptop and I don't have a scanner to get traditional sketches posted. Not like anyone is upset about that. I go missing on deviantart for months at a time. Sorry!

I've been on winter break since the 17th of December and I'm enjoying every bit of it. College really sucks up most of my time. I have about two more weeks after today until I have to go back. Meh.

Anyway, I was wondering if any of you could link me to a good message board. Because I get bored during the day. heh heh.


CLUBS

Classes begin on Monday the 27th. My laptop won't hook up to the campus network because I have the wrong version of Vista (need to upgrade to Ultimate. Goodbye $300). In addition, none of my current digital painting/graphic programs that I use for my tablet are compatible with Vista. (I see a common problem here, and it's vista.)

I may do some more traditional artwork, but I haven't got a scanner to upload it so probably the only activity you will see from me will be on breaks or times that I decide to go home.

By the way, I don't like college.


CLUBS

My watchers might have noticed that I've been uploading things to my gallery... although it seems like my watchers are dead. I've been extremely bored this summer during the day so I've been messing around with Photoshop and now Open Canvas.

I'm going to college on the 22nd of this month and so I doubt I will be active after that. But who knows? I don't feel inspired enough to do anything.

I don't think I'd ever ask but who wants to commission me to do something? I might actually make something nice if it's for someone else.

Or atleast I'd like to think that it will bring art. Last year I submitted 3 deviations in December because I had the time to do it. This year may or may not be different. I would like to say "I want to do a winter picture" but I've noticed the trend where I'll promise pictures that will never come. So no more promises that I can't keep.

I've been really inactive for a few reasons... mostly because I haven't been inspired much and I haven't had the time to sit down and do a nice job with something. School, boyfriend, World of Warcraft-- well maybe not WoW because I rarely play that-- and work have gotten in the way. And I'm not even in college yet!


To those of you who comment on my art, and you handful know who you are, thank you. Thank you very much. I feel bad because I haven't been returning the favor... I promise to change that. That's one promise I believe I can keep.
