So... there's something about deviantart that gives me this desolate feeling anymore. I think it's because everyone who I made an account on here for has either left for good or just became inactive for some reason or other. Life, perhaps? Also, I'm just not artistically active like I once was. Although I'm trying to change that, I don't think I'll be sticking around deviantart much anymore. Agreeing to terms and policies on an art community just to share your art with others doesn't really sit with me all too well. Also, the close up portraits that are reminiscent of myspace pictures turn me off to DA when I go to the homepage.
I may move my artwork to some sort of blog, or I may just feature it on my new website (end-of-hypnosis.net), OR when I get around to making my own tight-knit art community open to artistic individuals, I'll move everything onto there!
For those of who you paid attention to that art community comment, I am quite serious about making my own within the next year or so. If you are interested just slightly by that, please leave me some form of permanent contact information (like your email) so that I can contact you with a link to the website when I make one.
If I do end up "leaving," I will keep what is currently posted on DA up in case someone feels like looking through my gallery at some point (even though there is nothing really worth keeping here, I dislike when my favorite artists leave and take down much loved submissions with them, so I'll extend that courtesy to my watchers). I will also exchange contact information with anyone. The people I have met on deviantart are very dear to me.
